Amazon HR Manager Kalp Joshi and KCVG Loss Prevention Herbert K. Schultze enforced the illegal off-duty access rule to kick workers out of the lobby who intended to share vote count online. CAUSE still has 9 workers serving as observers to the counting process, but they cannot report the results. 3 workers who tried to report the results were told they had “no reason to be there”. The labor board had no issue with CAUSE live-streaming the tally, but Amazon did.

Amazon’s off-duty access rule was declared illegal in an NLRB ruling. By law, Amazon must comply with the ruling.

Amazon is flagrantly violating labor law right in front of the labor board with no consequence. The arrogance of this corporate empire is astounding. Amazon will come to learn that without us workers, nothing moves. The struggle continues. All Amazon workers must organize strong fighting unions to enforce our rights!
